2. Services Provided
London Headlight Repair provides professional automotive headlight repair services, including:
- Headlight restoration and polishing
- Lens repair and replacement
- Bulb replacement and upgrades
- Seal and gasket replacement
- Moisture removal and prevention
- Electrical system diagnostics and repairs
All services are subject to availability and may vary based on vehicle make, model, and condition. We reserve the right to refuse service in cases where repair may be unsafe or impractical.
3. Appointments and Bookings
Scheduling: Appointments can be made through our website, phone, or in person. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the estimated service cost.
Delays: While we strive to complete all work within the estimated timeframe, unforeseen complications may cause delays. We will notify you promptly if additional time is required.
4. Pricing and Payment
Quotes: All price quotes are estimates based on initial inspection. Final costs may vary if additional work is required. We will notify you and obtain approval before proceeding with any work beyond the original quote.
Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.
Pricing Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. However, confirmed bookings will honor the quoted price for 30 days from the date of the quote.
Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for:
- Parts and materials required beyond standard supplies
- Emergency or same-day service requests
- Work required outside normal business hours
- Special order parts or custom modifications
5. Warranty and Guarantees
Service Warranty: We provide a 12-month warranty on all workmanship from the date of service completion. This warranty covers defects in our repair work but does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by accidents or misuse
- Modifications made by third parties
- Environmental factors (e.g., extreme weather, road debris)
- Pre-existing conditions not addressed in the original service
Parts Warranty: Replacement parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, typically ranging from 6 to 24 months depending on the part and manufacturer.
Warranty Claims: To make a warranty claim, you must present proof of service and the vehicle must be inspected at our facility. Warranty repairs will be completed at no charge if the issue is determined to be covered under warranty.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, London Headlight Repair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Use or inability to use our services
- Delays in service completion
- Loss of use of your vehicle
- Any errors or omissions in our work
- Third-party actions or services
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
We strongly recommend maintaining comprehensive vehicle insurance to cover potential damages not covered by our warranty or this limitation of liability.
7. Vehicle Care and Responsibility
During Service: While your vehicle is in our care, we will take reasonable precautions to protect it. However, we are not responsible for:
- Personal items left in the vehicle
- Pre-existing damage not related to our service
- Acts of God, theft, or vandalism
- Damage to aftermarket accessories or modifications
Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about your vehicle and its condition
- Removing valuables and personal items before service
- Informing us of any special requirements or concerns
- Collecting your vehicle within 7 days of service completion
Vehicles not collected within 7 days may be subject to storage fees of £25 per day. After 30 days, we reserve the right to dispose of the vehicle in accordance with applicable laws.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of London Headlight Repair or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our content without prior written consent.
9. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution: In the event of any dispute or claim, we encourage you to contact us directly to seek a resolution informally before pursuing formal action.
Mediation: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation before pursuing litigation.
Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
Material changes will be communicated to existing customers via email where possible. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
11. Health and Safety
We maintain a safe working environment for our staff and customers. When visiting our facility, you agree to:
- Follow all posted safety instructions and signage
- Wear appropriate safety equipment when required
- Stay in designated customer areas unless accompanied by staff
- Report any safety concerns immediately
- Not interfere with work in progress
Children must be supervised at all times while on our premises. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not comply with our safety requirements.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
